Accounting and Payroll Administrator

The Accounting and Payroll Administrator combines hands-on training with comprehensive instruction to give students an understanding of basic practical accounting principles and train them in today’s essential accounting software, including Microsoft Excel, Database Management, Sage 50 (formerly Simply Accounting) and Sage 300 ERP (formerly ACCPAC).

Students have the opportunity to graduate with the program requirements to receive the Payroll Compliance Practitioner certification from the Certified Payroll Management Program (CPMP), issued by the Canadian Payroll Association (CPA), which is nationally recognized as the standard of excellence for payroll training. Vital coaching on such important skills as resume writing, job interview preparation and job search management gives graduates the strategies they need to pursue a new career with confidence.
